There was a special kind of ride for four children from Bavaria.
You were allowed to ride next to Pope Francis on the popemobile - quite unexpectedly.
Eichstätt/Rome - For two altar boys and girls from Bavaria, there was a very special ride: the quartet was allowed to drive with Pope Francis in his popemobile across St. Peter's Square in Rome.

The children from the diocese of Eichstätt sat with their green peaked caps on Wednesday morning (June 8) in the open car to the left and right of the pontiff, while he drove through the rows of believers before the general audience.
