Students of the basic and secondary education stages in all its branches, who come from the areas controlled by terrorist organizations, continue to submit their exams at the examination centers in the Sabkha area in the liberated countryside of Raqqa governorate, amid measures and measures taken by the Directorate of Education of Raqqa to secure the appropriate atmosphere for them.
Director of Raqqa Education Firas Al-Alo explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the Directorate of Education, in coordination with Al-Hasakah Governorate and the United Nations Children’s Fund “UNICEF”, provides accommodation and catering services for 1,406 male and female students in the hosting centers in Ma’adan area in the liberated countryside of the governorate, which number 12 centers, who came from the organizations-controlled areas terrorists to take their exams.
The Director of the Zour Shammar Saleh Al-Faraj Center explained that the services are available according to the available capabilities, in addition to intensive educational courses and review sessions before submitting each subject.
A number of students pointed out, despite the difficulty of accessing from their villages and towns to their hosting centers, that knowledge is their future and that the Raqqa governorate has provided them with appropriate services. The student Muhammad from the Tal Abyad area indicated that he came to present the basic education exams with all hope of success, while the student Ismail from the Al-Jarniyah area pointed out To the fact that his submission to the General Secondary Certificate Examinations, the scientific branch, is a step on the way to achieving his dream of continuing his education.
11918 male and female students sit for the basic education certificate exams in Raqqa, and 9848 male and female students in the General Secondary Certificate in all its branches.
