The Agricultural Bank of Homs has allocated 10 billion Syrian pounds to disburse the value of the wheat crop to farmers for the current agricultural season.
The director of the bank’s branch in Homs, Engineer Muhammad Al-Ahmad, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the money is disbursed to farmers who delivered their crops to Syria for grain, where the names are given according to nominal lists to the bank according to the delivered quantities and their financial value, so that the bank, during a record period not exceeding 48 hours, pays the value of the crop to the farmers.
The director of the bank indicated that the operations of providing the bank's services are continuing, including deposits and withdrawals, and the value of loans until the end of last May amounted to one billion Syrian pounds, of which 280 million pounds were the value of solar energy loans.
