Iván Duque says that he is concerned about demagoguery in the region: "We need strong democracies"

The president of Colombia, Iván Duque, was questioned at the Summit of the Americas about the shift of some countries in the region to the left, but he stated that he is concerned about demogogia, populism, post-truth, and polarization.

"Democracies become solid when freedoms are fully exercised," he said.
