A large fire in the Jerusalem mountains: Residents of Mevaseret Zion were evacuated from their homes
A fire is burning in an open area between Mevaseret Zion, Kiryat Anavim, Beit Nekofa and Har Adar, and approaching houses.
Five firefighters were called to the scene, and six firefighting planes were launched into the air.
Several roads were blocked to traffic

A large fire broke out at noon (Wednesday) in the Jerusalem mountains, in an open area between the localities of Mevaseret Zion, Kiryat Anavim, Beit Nekofa and Har Adar.
Several arteries in the area were blocked to traffic.
Five firefighters were called to the scene, and six firefighting planes were launched into the air.
The fire began to approach the houses in Beit Nekofa, and in Mevaseret Zion, the evacuation of residents from Dror Street began.
