Lyon BD Festival 2022: the highlights of a month of festivities

During the month of June, the comic book invests the city of the Rhône for a seventeenth edition. The event offers a rich program of meetings, exhibitions or shows, the “In” of which takes place from June 10 to 12.


Crowd of authors, meetings, exhibitions, performances, shows... The Lyon BD Festival started on June 1 for a month of festivities dedicated to the ninth art.

With a key moment, this weekend of June 11 and 12 where Mathieu Sapin, Guy Delisle, Chloé Cruchaudet, to name a few, will be there among the two hundred invited authors.

For four weeks, sixty cultural sites, between museums, theaters or galleries are transformed into places of expression of the 9th art.

The Lyon comic strip party

The In festival will open again this year with a free evening, under the sign of Portugal.

Among the celebrations, the Portuguese designers Joana Mosi and Patrícia Guimarães will follow one another on stage to produce their drawings live to the music of the group Kompa Doudou Chéri.

, will be present for the first time in Lyon to exhibit his work nourished by his social commitment and his ability to illustrate the depths of the human soul. .
