The Mexican government announced that six people were killed in a shooting in a street in the center of the capital, Mexico.
"Gunmen opened fire on a group of students in a street near a secondary school, killing three young men and two girls between the ages of 16 and 18 and a 65-year-old woman who was in the area," a police source told AFP.
The source indicated that investigations have begun to find out the background of the accident.
Eleven people were killed two weeks ago in a mass shooting at two bars and a hotel in Celaya, Guanajuato province.
