Plans for Caribic Night are in progress

The Freibad-Förderverein took stock of the grants at its general meeting.
Ainhofen – The Ainhofen outdoor pool has been run by VfB Ainhofen on a club basis since it opened in 1960.
The Freibad-Förderverein is an important supporter of the pool, which has now been shown repeatedly at its general meeting.
"An open-air pool run by volunteers needs many helpers and supporters of a non-material nature," stressed Chairman Charlie Böller.
It was right to make the outdoor pool available to the Constantin film company for filming for a longer period of time during the past bathing season.
"In this way, VfB was able to create a financial cushion for necessary investments." The film "Freibad" by director Doris Dörrie and leading actress Andrea Sawatzki is expected to hit the cinemas on September 1st.
For the ongoing operation of the outdoor pool, the 2021 association subsidized the bathing operation with 3800 euros.
This was necessary “because Corona did not allow normal bathing operations, but on the other hand high energy expenditure was unavoidable”.
Fundraising association treasurer Philipp Blumenschein showed that since 1998 this association has been able to contribute 77,300 euros to the outdoor pool fund from various sources.
"The cost-intensive tasks are not getting any less," said long-standing VfB chairman Hans Reif.
Just a few weeks ago, VfB had a new, ultra-modern dosing system installed at the outdoor pool, which serves both pools.
Cost: 23,000 euros.
The yellow sun loungers, which VfB was able to purchase inexpensively from the film props, are also new to the outdoor pool area.
"We made a good deal there," said deputy VfB chairman Olaf Schellenberger.
The outdoor pool entrance area has also been redesigned, where a new welcome sign now catches the eye.
A roller shutter was also installed at the kiosk entrance.
In the next few weeks, both the VfB as the outdoor pool sponsoring association and the support association will be challenged because of the traditional Caribic Night.
The planning for this dance and bathing night on Saturday, July 9th is already in full swing.
According to Reif, they will stick to the concept of previous years, "so again, with the support of the other Ainhofen clubs, we will organize a great party until the early morning".
In addition to a dance floor, there are seven bars and serving options around the outdoor pool.
A DJ provides hot rhythms.
The supporters' association is once again hosting the large bar near the outdoor pool gate this year.
A pizza stand and the kiosk with all its specialties should not be missing to entertain the many guests.
There will be no alternative date for the Caribic Night this year.
Some Vfb members complained at the meeting about how the use of the log cabin at the district's campground is regulated: local clubs were being asked to pay a lot, they complained.
Of course, the present CSU member of parliament Bernhard Seidenath, who is a member of the outdoor pool development association, did not like to hear that either.
As far as this usage fee is concerned, according to Seidenath, "a regulation should be found similar to that practiced by the city of Dachau for the use of the Thomahaus with Dachau clubs".
