Critic Dr. Atef El-Boutros considered that Faris Zarzour is the actual founder of the historical novel in Syria by the technical standard, even if other writers preceded him, but he was able to present a novel based on solving the difficult equation between the novel and historical heroes, so he preserved the prominent stations in the life of his hero, leaving himself the freedom to imagine the components and components of his personality.
