Seefeld - Three young award-winning musicians from Austria, Slovakia and Italy bring European music to Seefeld: Hannah Friedl, clarinet, Martina Pepuchova, flute, and Augusto Velio Palumbo, bassoon, are prizewinners of renowned music competitions of the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY).
Kultur im Schloss Seefeld is pleased to be able to host the final concert of the tour for the 11th time.
Dare together!
They don't know each other and meet for the first time at the state music school in Kufstein, where the Young Hearts for Music Tour begins.
There they practice with an experienced chamber music coach and learn in a workshop how to convey their music and international origins to the audience interactively.
The course will be followed by several concerts in Austria and Germany, in which the young artists will present and comment on works from their home countries as soloists or in duos or trios.
This time works by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Francois Devienne, Bela Bartok and other composers will be heard.
Big network
EMCY is a network of youth music competitions, active in 26 countries.
It stands for top musical quality, the promotion of young people and European cooperation.
A main task is the subsequent promotion of prize winners after the competition through concerts, master classes and workshops throughout Europe.
