The delegation of the Republic of Donetsk headed by the Minister of Culture Mikhail Geltyakov visited Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts today and carried out a number of activities in the framework of strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries.
During his visit, the delegation toured the halls of Dar al-Assad and was briefed about its theaters and training halls. According to a statement by the house published on its official platform on social media, the delegation expressed its admiration for this great edifice, stressing the importance of exchanging expertise and experiences between the two sides, especially that art and creativity unite the peoples of the world.
The delegation is scheduled to visit cultural monuments and archaeological sites in order to learn about the Syrian civilization. The agenda also includes holding workshops presented by experts from the Republic of Donetsk to professors and students of higher institutes in the Ministry of Culture and discussing the possibility of holding joint cultural events.
