Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
A number of Palestinians were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces attacking them north of Hebron in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the occupation forces stormed in large numbers the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, closed the main street in it and prevented Palestinians from leaving the town, and fired poison gas canisters at them, causing a number of them to suffocate.
In the context of their daily attacks, settlers burned wheat crops in the lands of Qusra town, south of Nablus.
The official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, said that the settlers have recently escalated their attacks in the vicinity of Nablus, in conjunction with their attempt to establish new settlement outposts in the area.
Three Palestinians were wounded and others were arrested earlier, during the Israeli occupation forces' storming of separate areas in the West Bank.
