The Colombian presidential candidate of the League of Anticorruption Governors, Rodolfo Hernández, said Thursday on Twitter that he will suspend his appearances to guarantee his safety, after being informed of an alleged plan to attempt on his life.

In a chain of messages on the social network, Hernández affirmed that he was certain that his life was in danger and added that he made the decision to "guarantee the possibility of a democratic election on June 19."

This Thursday, Blu Radio reported that during a campaign event with the Colombian community in Miami, Florida, the former mayor of Bucaramanga assured on Wednesday that he had received information about an alleged plan to kill him and pointed out that the attack against him could be carried out with a weapon. white.

Hernández did not specify whether he filed a formal complaint to investigate the alleged plan against him.
