Damascus-SANA
Damascus Governorate announced that due to the shortage of oil derivatives, it will stop supplying minibuses and safari vehicles with diesel in the city of Damascus on Saturdays, pending the arrival of oil supplies and the improvement of quantities.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it today, the governorate stated that the internal transport buses in its public and private sectors will continue to operate within the city of Damascus and its countryside on Saturdays, indicating that the decision of the fuel committee in the governorate comes in order to preserve the continuity of the work of transport modes in general during the rest of the week, when they are usually needed. More noting that Saturday was chosen as a holiday for students, universities, official institutions, and many sectors and events.
According to the statement, the governorate deals with priority and necessity in this regard until the arrival of supplies.
