The Housing Authority announced today (9th) that the balloting for HOS 2022 and White House 2022 will be held in the morning of October and a half next Monday (13th). The Housing Authority stated that the balloting ceremonies for the “Sale of Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) Flats 2020” (“HOS 2020”) and the “White Form Secondary Market Scheme (White Home Ownership Scheme 2) 2020” will be held. Next Monday (13th) at 10:30 in the morning, the order of applicants according to the last two digits of their application number will be determined.
The balloting ceremony was presided over by Mr. Wong Pik-ru, Chairman of the Subsidized Housing Subcommittee of the HA.
The whole balloting process will be broadcast live on the HA's Facebook page and YouTube channel. The HA will not arrange for the public and the media to attend.
The results of the lottery will be uploaded to the dedicated website of the HA/HD in the afternoon of the same day. Applicants who submit their applications online will be notified of the lottery results by email after the lottery ceremony is completed.

The HA is expected to conduct the HOS 2022 flat selection process in the fourth quarter of this year and issue approval letters to the successful applicants of the White House 2022.
The application deadline for HOS 2022 is March. Together with the online application and in-person form submission, a total of 251,000 HOS applications have been received, which is temporarily oversubscribed by about 27 times.
The relevant figures have not taken into account the postal applications received after the deadline, and it is expected that the final number of applications will be higher than the above-mentioned figures.
