Munich – On Tuesday around 6:15 p.m., two 7-year-old children who lived in Munich were in the area of ​​a park in Zamdorf.

An initially unknown man approached the children and engaged them in conversation.

He later performed sexual acts on a girl.

When the mother of one of the children wanted to pick them up, the children reported the attack.

The mother immediately confronted the man and then filed a complaint with the police.

The search measures that were initiated immediately and the further investigations by Commissariat 17 led to a 64-year-old resident in Munich.

He was found at his place of residence and arrested.

During the subsequent search of the apartment, potential evidence was seized.

After the end of the police measures and an identification service treatment, the 64-year-old was released after consultation with the public prosecutor.

Commissariat 17 and the local police inspectorate have already initiated the first preventive police measures, and further measures are being examined.

A preliminary investigation into the sexual abuse of children was initiated against the suspect.
