Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah affirmed that the resistance is capable of preventing the enemy from attacking Lebanon's oil wealth, stressing the need to protect, extract and make maximum use of it.
Nasrallah said in a televised speech tonight that Lebanon is facing a new stage as a result of the Israeli occupation entity's assault on its wealth and oil and water resources in the Mediterranean, pointing out that the wealth in Lebanese waters belongs to the Lebanese people and their remaining hope is to save their country from collapse.
Sayyed Nasrallah added that “the resistance is committed to the Lebanese people that it is able to prevent the enemy from extracting oil and gas from the Karish field,” noting that “Israel” committing any foolishness will have existential repercussions on the usurping entity and not only strategic.
Nasrallah stressed that "Israel" sending a ship to the Karish gas field is an attack on Lebanon, and this issue is no less important than the issue of liberating the occupied border strip, stressing that the resistance has the financial, military and security capacity to prevent the enemy from extracting oil and gas from the field.
