Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif affirmed that Islamabad supports Iran's peaceful nuclear programme.
The Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Sharif, during his meeting with Iran's ambassador to Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Hosseini, referred to the course of the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the international community and the obstacles placed by the United States and Europe in the path of reaching the agreement.
The situation in Afghanistan was also discussed, as the two sides called on the international community to pay attention to the tragic conditions of the Afghan people and to participate in addressing the humanitarian and economic crisis they are suffering from.
