Putin's "hangman" Andonov shot dead by snipers - he is said to have murdered civilians in Ukraine

One of the most notorious mercenaries from the pro-Russian "Group Wagner" is dead. A Ukrainian sniper is said to have shot him.
Munich / Kharkiv - He was nicknamed "Executioner" - because he is said to have murdered civilians and prisoners of war in the Donbass in 2014.
Now Vladimir Andonov, a member of the notorious pro-Russian mercenary group "Wagner" is dead - a Ukrainian sniper is said to have shot him in the escalating Ukraine conflict.
Several international media reports that Andonov was killed last week in the Ukraine war in Kharkiv - allegedly at night while exploring the area, together with another man.
Shambal-Shamso Zhanayev, the head of Russia's Transbaikalia region in Buryatia, confirmed the death to the Russian newspaper

Ukraine-Kireg: "Executioner" Andonov from the Wagner group dead
As the newspaper continues to write, Andonov's body is said to have been brought back to Russia on Wednesday night.
According to Russian media reports, he had a wife and at least two daughters.
In Russia ruled by Vladimir Putin, Andonov was decorated for his murders and for his "bravery".
In the Ukrainian database "Peacemaker" the "hangman" has several entries for war crimes.
Andonov comes from the autonomous republic of Buryatia and is said to have served in the Russian army from 1997 to 2005.
The Wagner group is known as a nefarious and brutal group of mercenaries - Russia officially denies any connection to them.
