Harry and Meghan's daughter Lilibet finally met Queen Elizabeth a few days ago.

Apparently, the Sussexes' photographer had to stay outside – by order of the monarch.

Windsor – There are eventful days behind Prince Harry (37) and Meghan Markle (40).

For the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's throne (96), the ducal couple traveled to England with their family after a two-year absence.

As part of the celebrations, the Royal dropouts only appeared once in front of the camera, but their flying visit still had highlights to offer.

During their multi-day visit, Harry and Meghan have taken refuge in their old home, Frogmore Cottage.

In the garden of the property, the parents of two also celebrated the birthday party for their daughter Lilibet Diana (1) on June 4th.

For the Sussexes' baby, the trip to Europe was something very special. Not only was little Lili a year older, Lilibet was finally able to meet her famous namesake, the Queen.

Shortly after Harry and Meghan's arrival in England, the first meeting of Lilibet - the monarch has borne the nickname since childhood - and Lilibet are said to have taken place at Windsor Castle, according to media reports.

As reported by "The Sun", Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to appear at Windsor Castle accompanied by a photographer, but the two are said to have received a clear rebuff from Queen Elizabeth II.

"Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to capture the moment Lilibet meets the Queen.

But they were told there was no chance of that.

It was a private family reunion," the anonymous source confided to the newspaper.

The couple has nevertheless published a current picture of Lilibet, but their great-grandmother is not to be seen.

Queen Elizabeth wishes to meet without cameras

The appointment with the 96-year-old regent should not have been the only meeting that the Sussexes held away from the flashbulbs.

Before the thanksgiving service for Queen Elizabeth in London's St. Paul's Cathedral, Harry and Meghan Charles (73) and Camilla (74) are said to have paid a visit.

Meanwhile, Prince William (39) and his wife Kate (40) held one appointment after the other, the long-awaited discussion between Harry and brother William is apparently still pending.

Before the end of the anniversary celebration, the Americans by choice made their way back to California.
