On June 21st, the dancers of the Hessian State Ballet will perform in the event forum Fürstenfeld.

Fürstenfeldbruck – The choreographer XIE Xin is the figurehead of China's contemporary dance scene.

Through collaboration with renowned international dance artists, she has developed a dance style that combines eastern and western dance forms. 

Her excellent pieces, which contain both contemplative and expressive elements, have attracted international attention.

In "Timeless", which will be shown as part of the dance festival on Tuesday, June 21, at 8 p.m. in the town hall of the event forum Fürstenfeld, XIE Xin and the dancers of the Hessian State Ballet are looking for forms of dance expression for the elementary forces that connect people and through which they can experience themselves as part of a timeless creation.

In calligraphic body images, martial arts-like sequences and diverse group formations, the dancers merge again and again into a flowing, versatile body.

In contrast, in “Untitled Black” Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, with their unmistakable choreographic signature, focus on an atmospherically dense, energetically charged dance that ecstatically hammers its way into consciousness with booming beats.

The futuristic scenery created from the symbiosis of light, dance and music, with the bodies wrapped in dark, shiny, skin-tight costumes, takes you into a parallel universe between awakening and an apocalyptic mood.
