Planegg – Drivers of electric cars will soon have six options for charging their vehicles in the municipality of Planegg.

Four e-charging stations are already available on Planegger streets and should be inaugurated on Thursday.

But as previously reported, a driver rammed into the new charging station on Fraunhoferstrasse.

This suffered a total loss of almost 10,000 euros and had to be dismantled before the inauguration.

The municipality has already ordered a new e-charging station for Fraunhoferstrasse.

The other three are now available for charging, each with two parking spaces: one on Lochhamer Strasse near Heinrich-Heine-Strasse, one on Behringstrasse in front of the Lidl supermarket and one on Röntgenstrasse in front of the Café Vorort.

Planegg's mayor Hermann Nafziger inaugurated the latter together with the mobility officer Martina Argyrakis and Michael Valentine-Urbschat, the managing director of eze.network GmbH.

The company is already active as an operator of the charging stations in Gräfelfing, Neuried and Gauting.

Further charging stations are to be set up at the Feodor-Lynen-Gymnasium and on Bahnhofstrasse in front of the Munich bank.

However, it may be a while before Bahnhofstrasse is equipped with a column.

According to the municipality, there are delivery problems with the power connection box.

Charging is possible with an EC or credit card as well as with an RFID card and Apple or Google Pay.
