Are you planning a relaxed summer holiday in Turkey?

Many are looking forward to summer with joy: the Corona rules have largely been lifted in numerous holiday destinations, so that uncomplicated travel is possible again.
So it is hardly surprising that there is increased interest in holidays abroad this year.
Turkey is also one of the top travel destinations in 2022 – are there still corona regulations to be observed here?

Turkey vacation: Do Corona rules still apply to entry?
Anyone who currently wants to travel to Turkey does
not have to observe any additional corona rules
.
The obligation to present proof of vaccination or a negative corona test has been lifted since June 1st - for both adults and children.
The entry registration and the HES code, which was mandatory for a long time, are no longer required.
Nevertheless, random fever measurements are still carried out on passengers upon arrival at the airport.
Additional examinations can be carried out in the event of an elevated temperature or corona symptoms.
What Corona regulations are there in Turkey?
There are no restrictions on access to restaurants, shops, cinemas or museums
in Turkey

A
mask requirement
only applies in health facilities.
In addition, a
minimum distance of three steps
to people outside of your own household is recommended.

Turkey vacation: What applies to the return trip to Germany?
For a long time, vacationers aged twelve and over had to present 3G proof when returning to Germany - regardless of whether they were coming from a risk area or a non-risk area.
However, in order to make it easier to travel during the summer, the Federal Cabinet has decided to suspend the regulation for the time being.
Since June 1, travelers no longer have to prove that they have been vaccinated, recovered or tested when entering Germany
.
"We will suspend the 3G rule on entry until the end of August," explained Health Minister Karl Lauterbach in the newspapers of the Funke media group.

However, rules for returning from travel continue to apply to travelers from virus variant areas - Turkey is not one of them, however.
No country is currently classified as a virus variant area.
