"Latin America realized that the disunity among Latin Americans allowed terrible things, for example, the search for vaccines when the covid was getting worse. Alberto Fernandez asked Biden to "help repair the damage caused by Trump" in Cuba and Venezuela

Regarding the fact that Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua were not invited to the meeting organized by the US, Fernández insisted that "it is not a social meeting that authorizes a certain right of admission" to the host and therefore expressed his disagreement.

The president assured that Cuba and Venezuela are countries that "are suffering a lot."

"In Cuba there is a dignified people that has survived 60 years of blockade. Being a Caribbean island abandoned by a large part of the world due to a blockade imposed during the Cold War, in truth, I must say that it is admirable that this people has survived," he said. .

"The blockade on Venezuela has condemned many Venezuelans to exile and has divided Venezuelan society"

"That has to be repaired. I made it very clear that all this happened in the years of Donald Trump, and that in any case what I ask the government of President Biden is to help repair all that damage."
