The Dachauer Nachrichten is organizing a digital trainee event together with the district office, which works like a partnership exchange.
Registration for the companies will now begin.
Dachau – In times of Corona, more and more companies are having problems attracting the attention of those looking for training.
At the same time, students have difficulties finding the right employer for them.
In the Dachau and Fürstenfeldbruck district there is therefore an innovative offer this year: a kind of dating website on which young people can get in touch with local companies for a week.
Business registration begins
Companies that want to take part in the digital trainee event and find their individual dream trainee can book their company profile by September 26th.
Further information is available by e-mail to stefan.langer@merkurtz.media or by calling 0 81 31/5 63 25 or 0 81 31/5 63 26. You can also register this way.
This one-week digital trainee event takes place in October under the motto "Match your future".
The
Dachauer Nachrichten
and the
Fürstenfeldbrucker Tagblatt
organize these so-called matching days in cooperation with the respective district offices and district craftsmen's associations as well as the IHK Munich/Upper Bavaria.
Trainee event for the district of Dachau and Fürstenfeldbruck: This is how the digital job fair works
Students can easily network with local businesses from their cell phones or tablets.
For a week, the young people have the opportunity to establish a connection with their dream company in the area using their mobile phone or computer.
The first step:
the local companies register on the portal.
Young people who are looking for training in their area then register later.
The students can create their profile with the most important data from the comfort of their sofa.
Grades and degrees do not play the main role.
Rather, it is also about interests, talents and certain strengths.
The second step:
Once the students have created their profile, things can get started.
Personnel representatives from each company can look at the young people's accounts and vice versa.
If an apprenticeship position appeals, the student can give the company a “Like” symbol.
A so-called match, i.e. a hit, occurs when the company also marks the student with a “Like” sign.
It also works the other way around.
The principle of the platform for placing workers is based on dating apps.

The third step:
The company and the student can now get to know each other in a chat.
If the spark jumps over, so to speak, the two parties can exchange information in more detail via video or telephone call.
The special job offer has already proven itself.
Last year, the districts of Freising and Erding successfully held the digital trade fair.
Shortage of skilled workers in the district of Dachau: That's why the digital trainee event is so important
For the first time, the matching days are now also available in the district of Dachau.
The district office supports the project for a specific reason: the shortage of skilled workers.
According to district spokeswoman Sina Török, it is a "challenging permanent task" - also for the district of Dachau.
A large proportion of the training positions are still vacant.
In April of this year - to be precise - 379 of 542 training places were vacant, as the spokeswoman for the Employment Agency, Kathrin Stemberger, announced when asked.
According to Stemberger, commercial sectors, such as retail, offices, banks or wholesalers, are particularly badly affected.
According to the district office, training positions in crafts or healthcare are also becoming more difficult to fill.
The offer speaks the language of young people.
Sina Török, spokeswoman for the Dachau district office
"The training companies have to be even more active and creative in order to convince themselves," said district spokeswoman Török.
The problem: The popular job information fair JOB has not been able to take place for three years due to the corona pandemic.
The idea behind the digital trainee event is to support young people in their search for training.
And in a contemporary way with an offer that, according to Török, "speaks the language of young people".
In addition, the matching days can take place safely in autumn - regardless of the infection situation.
By the way: everything from the region is also available in our regular Dachau newsletter.
