Deputy Commander of the Forces of the Donetsk People's Republic Eduard Basurin announced that four soldiers from Donetsk were killed and seven others were wounded while performing their duty to defend their country.
"We regret to announce the killing of four defenders of the Donetsk People's Republic and the wounding of seven others while carrying out their combat duty during the past 24 hours," Basurin was quoted as saying by TASS news agency.
Kyiv forces fired more than 280 shells and missiles towards the territory of the Republic during the reporting period, including Grad rockets, mortars and artillery.. 15 populated areas came under fire and 17 houses and civilian infrastructures were damaged.
Earlier today, the Donetsk People's Republic had announced the killing of a civilian as a result of the Ukrainian bombing of the Krasnyi Partizan settlement in the republic.
