Human-like skin developed for robotic finger

A group of scientists at the University of Tokyo used cells to grow human-like skin to cover a robotic finger.

The lead author of the study is interested in adding a vascular system to help transport nutrients to and from cells and keep the skin alive.

Will machines start to look like people?
