Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Rabikov discussed with Iranian Ambassador in Moscow Kazem Jalali today the joint comprehensive plan of action on Iran's nuclear program, focusing attention on the importance of expediting its resumption in its initial form documented in the UN Security Council resolution without any additions or deductions.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement: The Russian and Iranian sides expressed their condemnation of the actions of the United States and its allies that undermine stability, who put to a vote in the Security Council a resolution clearly hostile to Iran and politicized.
The statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the two sides focused during these discussions on the events that took place at the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna.
For his part, Jalali noted Russia's supportive stances for Iran regarding its nuclear program.
Yesterday, Iran condemned the decision of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency against its nuclear program, describing it as an incorrect political measure.
