Speed humps are actually supposed to increase road safety.
In Fresno, however, they ensure flying cars.
Fresno (USA) – Traffic safety is a top priority worldwide.
Traffic lights, zebra crossings and speed bumps are supposed to help increase safety on the roads, but that doesn't always work as desired.
A traffic island in Great Britain caused more accidents instead of fewer.
A similar phenomenon can also be observed in the Californian city of Fresno.
There, however, it is not a traffic island that gives drivers a headache, but two speed bumps.
At first glance, these seem completely harmless.
The speed bumps are almost three meters wide and about 12.7 centimeters high.
Nevertheless, they seem to be an insurmountable obstacle for drivers in Fresno – at least on all four wheels.
