Seas and oceans are the blue lung of our planet, as we like to remember every June 8, on the occasion of World Oceans Day.
Covering 70% of the earth and ensuring a crucial role in regulating its temperature, these large expanses of salt water - and the ecosystems they shelter - are nevertheless threatened.
Overfishing empties them.
Plastic waste makes them suffocate.
To protect them, nine countries on the American continent, bordered by the Pacific, have just united in a coalition.
On our small scale, what can we do?
We are convinced that safeguarding our seas and oceans means knowing them better.
By sailing on their waves, by discovering their depths, by meeting their emblematic species... Our selection mixes all the ways to "take to the sea" this summer,
but always with respect for this crucial natural element.
