The victim, Ms. Chen, complained to "Hong Kong 01" that she went to a clinic in Tsim Sha Tsui to receive the HPV cervical cancer vaccine on Wednesday (June 8), but the nurse mistakenly injected her with the Kexing new crown vaccine.
Afterwards, the clinic offered a compensation of 10,000 yuan, but asked her to sign and seal it up to give up the investigation. In the end, she refused, "If it's wrong, it's wrong. The injection is a big problem."
Ms. Chen showed the HPV appointment record to the reporter, confirming that she originally wanted to get HPV. The clinic also printed the government's fourth dose of the new crown vaccination certificate after the wrong injection of Sinovac.
In response to the inquiry, the clinic involved said that the client came to the clinic and said that he "wanted to be vaccinated." After registration, it was found that the client was using a Hong Kong and Macau passport. , when the needle paper was presented after completing the vaccination, the guest reported that he had come to receive the HPV vaccine instead of the Kexing vaccine.
The clinic said it had immediately reported the case to the Department of Health and handed over the case to the police.
The police said the case is temporarily being handled as a dispute.
Recording certificate nurse admits wrong injection
In April this year, Ms. Chen purchased the HPV vaccine service at a treatment center in Tsim Sha Tsui and paid about 4,000 yuan. The second dose was scheduled to be given on Wednesday (June 8) on the day on the injection card.
Ms. Chen recalled that during the second injection, the nurse pulled out the needle on her body, only to realize that the wrong Kexing was given.
