In Ornaisons, the fire broke out around 4:30 p.m., according to France 3 Occitanie, in an area described as wooded and exposed to the wind.
It would have stopped progressing around 9:45 p.m., thanks to the work of some 300 firefighters, nine planes and a helicopter which were engaged in the fight.

In the Alpes-Maritimes, another fire broke out at midday this Saturday, in a forest near Grasse in Spéracèdes.
A brush fire would be responsible.
According to France 3 PACA, 150 firefighters were deployed, the area being steep and difficult to access.
Dwellings and a perfume factory were protected.
