In addition to his decisions in the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, public interest is also focused on the state of health of Russia's rulers.

Moscow – There have been numerous rumors about the health of Russian President Vladimir Putin for a long time – now a suspected Kremlin insider has revealed new details.

The Telegram channel General SVR, run by the anonymous whistleblower, said in a message on Friday (June 10) that Vladimir Putin had sought "urgent medical assistance."

This is reported, among other things, by Dailymail.

The Kremlin insider describes an incident after a 90-minute video conference with representatives of Russia's military leadership last week.

The Russian ruler got up after the meeting and complained of "severe nausea, weakness and dizziness".

His medical team is said to have advised him not to attend “lengthy” public appointments.

Kremlin insider reports on Putin's medical problems

According to information from the Kremlin insider, this incident is also said to be the reason behind the cancellation of Putin's annual public question and answer session "The Direct Line", which takes place in June Usually justifies the Kremlin's policy, puts itself in the limelight and undermines opponents' arguments.

However, the event was last postponed "indefinitely" this year.

The reports by the anonymous whistleblower on Telegram cannot be independently verified, but some Western secret services and medical experts have also confirmed that there have recently been increasing indications that the Kremlin ruler may be ill.

In addition, there is a report by the French tabloid Paris Match, which states that Russia's secret service would even fish Putin's legacies out of the toilet during foreign visits so as not to leave any DNA traces behind for enemy secret services.

Putin's health is a taboo subject in Russia

Earlier this month, a Russian spy told Britain's The Mirror newspaper that Putin was suffering from increasingly serious physical problems, including blurred vision and tremors, and may only have "two to three years to live."

Rumors about Putin's possible illness repeatedly mention a form of cancer or Parkinson's disease.

The only Kremlin official who has so far spoken publicly on the taboo topic of the health of the Russian ruler in the Kremlin is Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

In an interview with the French broadcaster TF1 at the end of May, he said: "You can watch him on the screens, read and hear his performances.

I don't think that sensible people can see signs of illness or malaise in this person." (ska)
