Erding: Almost 1000 kilos of food for the board

The people of Erding help help: This is shown by the call for donations by the parish association in favor of the Tafel Erding.
The appeal by the Erding-Langengeisling parish association to donate food to the Tafel to support needy citizens in the city met with a great response.
Almost 1000 kilograms came together.
In addition, 500 euros were presented.
With the donations in kind, the food bank is supported in the distribution of food, which takes place every Wednesday at the S-Bahn station.
Volunteers provide an important service to the community.
As a result of the corona pandemic, the Ukraine war and inflation, they are seeing people in increasing need.
An impressive 678 kilograms of food were collected in Langengeisling, Altham and Eichenkofen.
Birgit Jöbstl, chairwoman of the parish council of St. Johannes, from the town parish was able to hand over another 261 kilograms.
