Today, firefighters in Homs governorate put out a fire that broke out in olive trees and agricultural crops in the village of Al-Sindianah in the western countryside of the governorate.
Brigadier General Ghiath Akil, director of civil defense in Homs, told SANA reporter that the branch’s operations room received a report about a fire in the agricultural lands of the village of Al-Sindianah in the western countryside of Homs. That the fire affected about a hundred olive trees and dunams of wheat.
Aqel indicated that the firefighters also dealt with a fire that broke out in dry grass on the Homs-Tartous road at the western entrance to the city of Homs, before it spread towards the orchards of Al-Waer and was able to put it out.
