There is a "silly mother" Annie in Fanling who gave up her original job in 2017 and opened a shelter for stray cats and dogs by herself.
Due to the new crown epidemic, "Silly Mom" has encountered financial difficulties. Recently, due to disputes between the owners, she has to move out of the current location before July 19.
Lau Kwok-hsun, a member of the New Territories North District Legislative Council of the Democratic Alliance for Betterment of Hong Kong, inspected two pieces of land today (11th) to see if it was suitable for more than 100 stray cats and dogs.

Independent operation since 2017
"Hong Kong 01" reported earlier that "Silly Mom" Annie has rented 12,000 square feet of land in Fanling since 2017 to open a "Silly Mom Stray Cat and Dog Home".
She used to work as a restaurant manager and would often feed stray cats and dogs after work. Later, she realized that she could not just feed, but to rescue, sterilize and return.
Since then, Annie has to take care of more and more stray cats and dogs. She resolutely resigned and established the "Silly Mom Stray Cats and Dogs Home". Currently, she takes care of 83 dogs and 22 cats.
In the past, Annie would "spread off" and provide door-to-door pet grooming services to increase her income to maintain her business. However, the impact of the epidemic has caused her to lose part-time jobs and her income has been affected.
There has been a dispute between the owners of the venue recently, and Annie needs to move out of the current location by July 19.
Enthusiastic people offer to help
Liu Guoxun has been following up on the incident. Today, Annie and Annie inspected the two pieces of land in the North District to see if the geographical location and transportation facilities are suitable for setting up a "Silly Mom Stray Cat and Dog Home".
At the end of May, Liu Guoxun appealed to interested people to provide land, and was willing to provide support such as land rezoning voluntarily. So far, many people have taken the initiative to contact him.
If the location is suitable, he will assist with the planning application and land administration process.
In addition to the land, Liu Guoxun also received active contact from many people, hoping to provide assistance in all aspects. He expressed that he was very moved and was a great encouragement to Annie.
