Gravel road as a compromise for a long-demanded bike path in Allershausen

According to the SPD, the cycle path should be built on the east side of FS 6 (on the right in the picture) because nothing is progressing with the planned realization on the west side.

The extension of the commercial area A 9 Süd, which is intended to ensure that Yaskawa remains in Allershausen, is entering the next phase.
At the heart of the debates: a cycle path.
Allershausen
- After considering the statements from the early participation of the public and authorities, the Allershausen municipal council decided to reinterpret the land use plan and the development plan.
The permitted use of the area and the cycle path along the district road FS 6 caused discussions.
As reported, the commercial area directly on the A9 in Allershausen is to be enlarged by 80,000 square meters.
A new 10,000 square meter hall, which the Yaskawa company urgently needs, is to be built on the area previously used for agriculture.
So far so good.
The SPD parliamentary group in the municipal council now sees this as a great opportunity to realize the long-planned cycle path along the FS6 between the roundabout in Allershausen and the Eggenberg motorway bridge.
What was already discussed at the municipal council meeting was now formulated in writing by the SPD parliamentary group afterwards: In view of the fact that the construction of the cycle path on the west side of FS 6 has not progressed for 19 years because owners are not willing to cede land " and the majority in the municipal council doesn't want to know anything about an expropriation procedure," the SPD suggests using the investor's plans and building a footpath and cycle path on the east side of FS 6.
It is incomprehensible that, according to the SPD, this was rejected in the municipal council because the interests of the investor company took precedence.
The FS 6 with 7200 vehicle movements per day and as an alternative route for the A 9 is a very dangerous route for pedestrians and drivers, a connection between Allershausen Süd and the industrial area is just as urgently needed as a direct bicycle connection between Leonhardsbuch and the industrial area.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
The SPD cannot understand the argument that cyclists could use Jobsterstraße: "Traffic turnaround works differently." At least it was agreed at the municipal council meeting that a "gravel road", which should explicitly not be a designated cycle path, should be on the east side of the FS 6 would be a possibility.
However, this still has to be included in the urban development contract to be negotiated and concluded with the investor.
Another important topic was the future use of the new commercial area: As Mayor Martin Vaas announced, after consultation with the investor, the passage was inserted at short notice that the main use as a logistics location was excluded in the development plan.
That was important to the municipal councils, which is why Bianca Kellner-Zotz (CSU) was not enthusiastic about the fact that the last third of the area had not yet been used.
Due to the passage that has now been included, no freight forwarder will be able to settle, at least on the site that is now to be developed.
An increased volume of traffic caused by trucks is therefore excluded.
In the end, the municipal council decided to reinterpret both the land use plan and the development plan in accordance with the usual procedure for such procedures.
