The ambassador of the Lugansk Republic to Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, announced that civilians began to leave the territory of the Azot plant in the city of Severodonetsk in the east of the country.
"Civilians have started to leave the factory through the barrier, which is not under the control of Ukrainian militants," Miroshnik said on his Telegram channel, adding that civilians were being received and taken to a safe place.
He pointed out that the remaining Ukrainian armed formations are stationed in a number of buildings in the First Gate area and are still holding hundreds of civilians hostage.
