Mansour Abbas: Does not rule out sitting in government with Netanyahu, Smutrich and Ben Gvir
The chairman of RAAM said today at a "cultural" event that he does not rule out future coalition cooperation with the leaders of the opposition parties, as long as they do not disqualify him.
He stressed that he would not call on Arab MKs to resign, just as the Jewish parties did not demand Silman or Shikli to resign after rebelling against the coalition.

Abbas, who came to the event accompanied by security guards, said he was experiencing incitement and threats from both sides - Jews and Arabs.
He came out against a call from the crowd to rejoin the joint list, explaining that just as Jews have many parties, Arabs should not be expected to converge into one party.
In response to a question from the audience about Jewish extremism, such as the calls for a second Nakba, Abbas responded with a long monologue against violence and dehumanization on both sides of the conflict, and also condemned the attacks carried out by Arab citizens.
Asked why at the time he was bothered by the position of some of my fellow members on the LGBT issue, while now he has no problem sitting in government with a declared gay minister, Abbas said he is indeed opposed for religious reasons, but also in favor of civic equality and religious coercion on every person.
