Mexican activist Olimpia Coral Melo Cruz was invited to the gala ceremony for Time magazine's 100 most influential people in 2021. The activist wore a green scarf that has been associated with the fight for the decriminalization of abortion.
Melo Cruz has obtained worldwide recognition for being the promoter of the Olimpia law, which provides between four and six years in prison for those who disclose intimate photos, videos or audios of third parties by any means without her consent or through deception.
