Seeshaupt: Serious accident with motorcyclists - helicopter had to land

Seeshaupt - Serious motorcycle accident on the road from Hohenberg to Seeshaupt.

A rescue helicopter had to land.

The accident happened on Monday (June 6) at around 6:25 p.m. on the road from Hohenberg towards Seeshaupt.

According to the police, the 25-year-old from Fürstenfeldbruck crashed his motorcycle into the crash barrier and then fell over the crash barrier into the embankment.

The motorcycle rolled about 50 meters further down the mountain on the road.

The motorcyclist was taken to Weilheim Hospital with serious injuries.

A rescue helicopter landed at the scene of the accident to provide medical care for the 25-year-old.

The motorcycle suffered material damage of around 1500 euros.

The Seehaupt fire brigade was on site with 15 emergency services.
