The people of Tal Rifaat town and the neighboring villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo carried out a protest sit-down condemning the Turkish aggression and the practices of its terrorist mercenaries against civilians, stressing their attachment to the land and their standing with the Syrian Arab Army in the face of any possible aggression on Syrian territory.
The protesters raised national flags and banners denouncing the policy of the President of the Turkish regime, while the words of the speakers confirmed that “their stand today is in the name of the sons and sects of the Syrian people to say (no) to the Turkish occupation and (no) to threats and statements targeting the unity and land of the Syrian people,” and that they are the owners of the land and will not frighten them. Any threats from the head of the corrupt Ottoman Turkish regime, and they will offer the most precious to preserve this land from the taint of all forms of occupation.
SANA monitored the opinions of a number of residents participating in the vigil, where Ibrahim Dibo, head of the Tel Rifaat town council, explained that “today’s stand is a stand of glory and pride to say to Erdogan..This is Syria of steadfastness that will not dream of undermining it under any pretext or false claim,” noting that “ All spectra of the Syrian people stand as an impenetrable dam against any possible aggression, and they are side by side with the men of the Syrian Arab Army to preserve the honor and liberate the land.”
Issam Kanjo, a resident of Deir Jamal village, said, "We condemn the Turkish aggression on Tel Rifaat and the neighboring villages, because we are the owners of this land, and we will defend it with the most precious and precious, and sacrifice our generous blood for the soil of our ancestors, following the example of our Syrian Arab Army."
