Suspicion of murder in Haifa:
A man (54) stabbed to death his wife, Samar Kalasni (51), this morning (Sunday) in her apartment in Haifa.
The two were found fatally and severely injured in the woman's apartment, while unconscious.
Yvonne, Samar's neighbor, called the police.

"Someone is killing the woman here. Urgent. Urgent," Yvonne exclaimed in horror in the panicked phone call.
"It's her husband, her divorcee. I'm a neighbor. All the neighbors out there."
"Does she need medical treatment? Was she injured?" The caller asked at the 100 hotline.
"Yes I think. He beats her inside. We're trying to break down the door. Inside the house. Urgent! Urgent"!
"I will also send firefighters to break down the door," the police hotline promised.
"He's already killed her. What are you waiting for? God! He killed her. He killed her. It's all blood."

In another conversation with Hotline 100, the neighbor said, "The divorce kills her. Urgent urgent ... he closes it and beats her ... all the stairs blood ... urgent urgent."
Later in the conversation, the neighbor reported that Samar's daughter, who managed to escape from the apartment minutes before the incident, fainted.
The operator instructed her to lift her legs, while she tried to find out more about what was happening.

MDA bandits and paramedics who arrived at the scene provided first aid to the two and evacuated them to Rambam Hospital in the city, while performing resuscitation operations on the woman.
MDA paramedics Hanan Zohar and Shachar Atias said: "We entered the apartment and saw a man and a woman suffering from penetrating injuries to their bodies.
The woman was pulseless and breathless and the man unconscious.
"We immediately started performing advanced resuscitation operations on the woman, which included massages and resuscitation, we took them to the intensive care unit and evacuated them to the hospital while continuing medical treatment when their condition was critical."

"We've known them for years, there was a conflict between them," said one of the neighbors, "Samar was something, but he was wrong. Her daughter was supposed to be engaged tomorrow."
Paddy was one of the people who managed to break into the house and arrest the man during his actions.
"He went crazy, stabbed her in the heart, I pushed him away from her and performed CPR on her. He told me, 'Save her,'" he says passionately, adding: "He started stabbing himself. And I continued with the resuscitation. "
