A 30-year-old "gun addict" went to the West Kowloon Magistrates' Court to meet a probation officer the day before yesterday (10th) and was arrested for uncovering a fake pistol during a security check.
The incident happened at about 4:30 pm on the same day. When the man entered the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts, security guards found a suspected imitation pistol in the bag. The police arrived and arrested him, and then searched his location at Cannes Road, Tseung Kwan O. In the house, different equipment was found in the house. A total of 12 imitation firearms, wireless walkie-talkies, vests with police badges, goggles, helmets, etc. were seized.

At about 4:30 p.m., he arrived at the security check area on the 1st floor of the West Kowloon Court and lined up for security check. The security guard found a suspicious gun-shaped object in his bag through an X-ray machine. An imitation firearm was found, and the police called for help.
After the police arrived at the scene, someone claimed to have taken the air gun from home to the workplace to shoot, and also claimed that yesterday (9th), he also took out the imitation gun from the Tau Keng Leng MTR carriage and showed it to a female passenger.
The police took the man back to his residence and searched, and seized 12 imitation firearms, anti-government posters and protest equipment.
In addition, the police also seized a camouflage vest with two police badges and a Velcro sticker with the words "Loyalty, Courage and Society".
Luo Nan was arrested on suspicion of possession of imitation firearms and unlicensed possession of radio transmitters. He is being detained for investigation.
