Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian asserted that the US and European Troika countries putting a draft resolution for a vote in the International Atomic Energy Agency's board of governors was a hasty and politicized behavior.
The Iranian news agency "IRNA" reported that Minister Abdullahian discussed, during a telephone conversation with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres last night, views on regional and international issues of common interest.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the United Nations stressed the importance of continuing the Vienna negotiations to revive the nuclear agreement, considering that the statement issued by the IAEA Board of Governors was just recommendations, pointing to the need to continue negotiations to revive the nuclear agreement and resolve differences between Iran and some parties.
