Various lyrical and musical segments included in the concert hosted by Al-Azm Palace in Damascus today on the occasion of the National Day of the Russian Federation.
The ceremony included songs, dance performances by Russian folk groups, and various competitions.
Nikolai Sukhov, director of the Russian Cultural Center, told SANA Cultural Center: On the occasion of Russia’s National Day, the Russian communities in the countries of the world revived this occasion, and the Russian community in Syria had a share in holding the ceremony in the Azem Palace because of this place of meaning and cultural standing, and the celebration was transmitted through the Russian media .
Sokhov pointed out that the ceremony was distinguished by its inclusion of dance segments and various competitions in which the Syrians who visited Al-Azm Palace today and celebrated with the Russian community in Damascus participated.
Russia celebrates the National Day by holding many events and activities, including cultural concerts in the largest concert halls in Russia, with the participation of the most famous bands.
