Here.. in this corner there is a painting of suffering.. and another there that speaks of hope.. and others there are forty-three others with whom the plastic artist Fadi Qutaish opened his art exhibition today in the People's Gallery of Fine Arts in Damascus.
Qutaysh the human being, according to everyone who was surrounded by the painter who rose up against his suffering and defeated it. He was one of the people of determination who laid his feathers resting after three months of effort. He wrote works that were the language of challenge and determination to reach his goal, no matter how thorny the path was.
During his exhibition, Qutaish indicated in his interview with SANA reporter that the exhibition’s forty-five paintings are a product that reflects the reality we are going through, as he considered that each of them has a significance and a goal, indicating that his greatest goal is to hold the exhibition despite the material difficulties he is facing.
When asked about drawing as a specific art, Qutaish confirmed that it is an art that belongs to a number of schools and each school has its own color and that it shares with other arts by relying on talent and continuous practice that guarantees success, adding that in some cases talent may need support in its practice, which prompted him to teach plastic art and art Architecture in a training center.
In turn, the plastic artist, Sahar Masoud, considered the exhibition a great product due to the amount of creativity in the paintings, despite the difficulties and obstacles that the artist faced, pointing to the high degree of consistency in selecting the colors of the paintings and her ideas from reality, in addition to the delicate sense of the artist Qutaish and his participation in his spirit in drawing the painting, noting his possession of the tools of the unique art of painting. than others and use it in the best way.
It is noteworthy that the artist, Fadi Qutaish, was born in Suwayda Governorate in 1976, graduated from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in the French capital, Paris in 1999, and is a member of the Union of Plastic Artists in Syria. In 1999, he won two prizes, the first for his participation in the Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and the Fourth Youth Exhibition, and another in Spain in 2003.
