Damascus Governorate confirmed that all transport modes have been provided with their allocations of the fuel oil specified for them since yesterday evening and started serving their lines since this morning.
Member of the Executive Office of the Transport and Communications Sector, Mazen Dabbas, said in a statement to SANA that all public transport modes, including microbuses, seraphs, and internal transport buses in the public and private sectors, have been provided with diesel since Saturday evening, according to the allocations specified for each means.
Dabbas pointed out that all transportation modes began serving their lines since the morning, calling for calling the number 115 in the event of any complaint against a driver who did not reach the end of the line, serve the line assigned to him, or charge an excessive tariff.
It is reported that the supply of fuel oil to minibuses and safari vehicles in the city of Damascus was stopped on Saturdays due to the shortage of oil derivatives, pending the arrival of supplies and the improvement of quantities based on the decision of the Fuel Committee in the Governorate of Damascus.
