The branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in Daraa started today receiving wheat and barley crops from contracted farmers, amid simplified procedures in terms of speed of marketing and payment of the encouraging price by the state.
The director of the branch, Eng. Samer Al-Zamil, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the multiplication branch offers contracted farmers a reward for delivery, so that the price of one kilogram of barley reaches 1920 Syrian pounds, an increase from the price set by the state of 1,600 pounds, up to 320 pounds, and wheat, 2340 pounds, and the price specified by the Before the state, 1,700 Syrian pounds, an increase of about 640 Syrian pounds per kilo, indicating that the percentage of rewards ranged between 20 and 35 percent, depending on the stages and the degree of purity of the species and species.
He added that the branch had taken the necessary measures and measures for marketing by equipping the screening and sterilization center and burlap bags, forming supply committees, calibrating the hulls, and preparing the laboratory to take samples and analyze them properly, while creating the necessary spaces for storage.
The Daraa Seed Multiplication Branch expects to market 200 tons of barley and 12,000 tons of wheat.
