The most beautiful DHL note in a long time!

A messenger was particularly fond of animals and left a valuable tip - the cat's owner was moved.

Witten - trouble, nothing but trouble!

You can get this impression if you look at the feedback on parcel couriers on social media.

But first of all, hardly anyone speaks up when deliveries are properly delivered.

And secondly, the messengers are under enormous time pressure - mistakes can sometimes happen.

All the better when, as a counterweight, incidents become public in which people are involved and the deliverers show a big heart.

For example here with the note from a GLS messenger - and a DHL employee even prevented a fire.

DHL messenger warns owner of ticks in cat's fur

What Henning Stein experienced, a pathologist from Witten in the Ruhr area (NRW), is similarly heartwarming.

Although there is no official confirmation for his descriptions, there is no reason to doubt it.

On Friday (May 27) he posted a photo of a DHL notification slip on Twitter.

It does not say a storage location, but a completely different, important note: "Your cat has 2 ticks on its neck, fur is gone and reddened."

So the DHL messenger noticed on his tour that the cat was infested by two dangerous beasts - and despite the stress, he took the time to point this out to the owner on a note.

This not only knocks stones out, but also others.

"That's nice of the DHL man, he takes care of the cat," writes another Twitter user.

"DHL is simply second to none as a service provider," enthuses one user.

Another quips: "Did he leave the cat in the store because he didn't see you?"

Another user tells her own DHL story: “We used to have a DHL man who always had treats for our dog.

She always got three.

And she could count!

Animal-loving parcel carriers are the best.”

DHL messenger leaves note - cat had caught ticks

But back to the cat with the ticks in Witten: Stein explains details of the Hach experience on Saturday (May 28) when asked tz.de.

His wife and he were traveling.

"When I got back this notice was in the mailbox and one of our two cats was outside the house meowing.

She had the opportunity to go into the house." Stein continues: "We didn't expect or receive a package from DHL.

The courier must know that the cat belongs with us."

The thing about the ticks was actually true.

Pippo, as the cat was called, a five-year-old Selkirk Rex, had caught the unwanted animals.

“Yes, we have a lawn in the garden and there are quite a few ticks.

Our two dogs also have ticks from time to time," says Stein.

The most important thing: "Pippo is fine."

DHL customer enthusiastic: "Very nice gesture from the parcel service"

Stein is still moved by the DHL messenger.

"I think it's a very nice gesture from the parcel service (which is under a lot of time pressure) to leave such a human message." DHL was far less enthusiastic about this cheeky message.
